Finals and Presentation Evening

The 2022-23 season ended with the first Finals and Presentation Evening since 2019.  The event, held at Aigburth Peoples Hall in Liverpool, saw three finals.  Congratulations to Aigburth People who defeated Aardvarks to win the Merseyside Challenge Plate.  In a very close Mimir final, Southport & Formby's Dag Griffiths won the individual title.  This was Dag's third win and at eighty years we think that he is the oldest person to take the Trophy!  The Merseyside Challenge Cup was won by The Cricketers who beat Colly Wobblers in another well contested match in which Colly Wobbler's Pat Gibson scored a full house.  Recordings can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate final: PlateMimir and Cup.  The finals were followed the presentation of awards to the winners and runners up in the MCC competitions.  Images can be seen on the Gallery page
