Merseyside Quiz Leagues

Many congratulations to Abbey Sinners and to Kluggers, winners of the 2019 Rendon and Feeny Cups.

Abbey Sinners defeated fellow Ormskirk Quiz Leaguers, Rugby Hounds 40-35 in last night's final at the Fleetwood Hesketh SSC.  In a close competition, Kluggers of the Liverpool Quiz League ran out winners after two fine wins over Colly Wobblers of Ormskirk and Wings of Southport & Formby.

The 2019 Finals and Presentation Evening hosted by Wirral will be held on Wed 15 May at the Hoylake Social Club, 11 Trinity Road, Hoylake CH47 2BR, starting at 8pm.  

The Final stages of these competitions will be held on Wed 1 May at the Fleetwood Hesketh SSC, Fylde Road, Marshside, Southport PR9 9XH.  The Feeny competition begins at 8pm and the Rendon Final at about 8.45pm.  Spectators are of course most welcome.

As announced, the 2019 AGM of the MQL will take place on Sunday 14 April at Old Swan Conservative Club, 73 Derby Lane, Liverpool L13 6QE starting at 8pm.  Agenda and Minutes can be found on the MQL Administration page on the 'About MQL' tab
